Update to ACT’s COVID Policy

Please review our updated safety policy below and let us know if you have any questions before attending your next Mainstage Season performance!

Beginning March 1, 2022, in order to attend the Friday and Saturday performances of all ACT Mainstage Season shows (Fight Girl Battle World, The Giver, [title of show]), people ages 5 and older will be required to show:

  • Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19

OR

  • Proof of a negative lab-conducted PCR test for COVID-19 taken within 48 hours of the performance

Thursday and Sunday performances of Mainstage Season shows will not require proof of vaccination or negative tests.

All Fight Girl Battle World performances (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) will continue to be socially distanced (no more than 50% capacity tickets sold with seating blocked to maintain social distancing) and will require all audience members to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose at all times, regardless of vaccination status.

We will review policies for upcoming Mainstage Season shows (The Giver, [title of show]) closer to those performance dates.

As a community theatre, we want to keep people safe while continuing to be a space that remains accessible to all. To create this hybrid policy, we looked to local theatres as well as other spaces in our area that also serve the community, such as libraries, schools, and museums. We will continue to follow the COVID-19 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, the North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services, the Buncombe County Department of Health, and the City of Asheville.
