Welcome to the 2024-25 Student Matinee Series! Please read below for answers to the most common student matinee ticketing questions.
How Much Are The Tickets for The Matinees? What Is Your Complimentary Ticket Policy?
Tickets are $10 for teachers/chaperones and students. We give 1 complimentary teacher ticket for every 20 student reserved. Additional teacher/chaperone tickets must be purchased at full price in advance. Each group can reserve up to two bus driver complimentary tickets. Bus driver complimentary tickets are in addition to the standard teacher/chaperone complimentary ticket allotment.
How Do I Reserve For A Student Matinee Performance?
We now allow schools to create their own reservations/deposits online instead of waiting on the box office. Click the “Reserve” link under any of the matinees below and complete your reservation like any other ticket order. Then, fill out this form and we’ll make your remaining balance invoice. It’s that easy!
Reservations must be completed online but if you have questions about the process, call the Box Office Manager, Mikayla Wilson, at (828) 254-1320 ext 100.
How Many Seats Can I Reserve?
As many as you need! Please include all teachers, chaperones, and bus drivers (as well as students!) in your reservation count so that we have a seat for everyone! We do ask you only reserve as many as you will realistically use due to limited seating.
When Will I Receive My Remaining Balance Invoice? When Is The Latest I Can Pay My Balance?
Please give us a week to email your invoice to you. If you need a physical copy mailed to you, please call the Box Office Manager, Mikayla Wilson, at (828) 254-1320 ext 100. All payments must be settled two weeks before the matinee.
There Aren’t Enough Seats for My School. What Should I Do?

Come visit the Zuckerman farm where you will meet Wilbur the Pig, Templeton the Rat, the Goose, the Gander, and Charlotte the Spider to witness the miracles that can happen through the simple act of friendship.
This production is performed by The Autumn Players, a troupe of seasoned actors who specialize in Readers Theatre – a style of theatre incorporating oral interpretation of text with performance. You can expect these talented performers in symbolic costume pieces, with unique interpretations of every character they portray, and holding their text in binders.
