The ACT Education Department had an incredible year! 2023 marked the introduction of ACT’s Tanglewood Teens – a high school theatre troupe for young performers to receive year-long training in the theatre arts. The season included Curtains!, Elf: The Musical Jr., Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids, and Disney’s The Descendants, with Finding Nemo Jr. as the Summer Musical. These productions not only entertained but also provided young performers and technicians with a chance to learn, grow, and explore their creativity.

The Autumn Players delighted audiences with six Readers Theatre Showcase productions: Dial M for Murder, Charlotte’s Web, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Birds, Over the River and Through the Woods, and Enchanted April. With sold-out performances and the return of outreach programs to schools and senior living centers.
