The No Show
This Fundraiser Ends December 22nd at 5:00 PM
Step into the world of The No Show, an unprecedented theatrical fundraiser where nothing takes center stage!
Marvel at the absence of actors delivering heartfelt performances. Gasp at the complete lack of breathtaking sets and lighting design. Be swept away by the non-existent orchestra playing a score you’ll never hear. Watch in awe as no costumes transform characters you’ll never meet. From the moment the curtain doesn’t rise to the second it doesn’t fall, The No Show promises an evening unlike anything you’ve never seen before. No plot. No drama. No choreography. Just an unforgettable event you’ll never attend.
Why It Matters
The No Show is a fundraiser. While it promises to deliver absolutely nothing on stage, behind the scenes it’s doing something truly spectacular: helping Asheville Community Theatre recover and rebuild after experiencing a devastating economic impact from Hurricane Helene.
We’ve diligently applied for outside funding to help us through what should have been our busiest season, but so far, no funding has come through. So… it’s all up to us.
By buying a ticket to this fundraiser ($100), you’re making a real and visible difference. This isn’t just about supporting The No Show—it’s about supporting the people, the creativity, and the community that make Asheville Community Theatre what it is. Every dollar helps to repair the damage to our facility, sustain the programs you love, and ensure we can continue creating opportunities for our community for years to come.
Grab your ticket, rally your friends to join in, and let’s turn this show that doesn’t exist into the biggest success we’ve ever had. Together, we can create the greatest show the world has never seen!
How It Works
This is a fundraiser! An exciting opportunity to support the arts in our community while participating in the greatest non-event of the season!
- Buy your ticket. Tickets are $100 minimum, but this is your moment to go big! Feel inspired? Contribute more—every dollar goes to keeping Asheville Community Theatre thriving.
- Pick your seat. Even though there’s no show, you still get to choose your favorite seat in the theater. Whether you’re “sitting” front and center or somewhere else, your ticket gets you prime imaginary real estate.
- Get your crew on board. This is the perfect opportunity to rally your friends, family, or coworkers to pitch in together for one ticket. Pool your resources, pick your seat as a team, and make a huge collective impact!
- Spread the word. Share The No Show on social media, tag your crew, and encourage others to join in on the fun. Let’s make this the most unforgettable event that never happened!
