ACT is proud to sponsor The Autumn Players, a group whose members share a common love of theatre arts.

Together with Asheville Community Theatre, TAP has provided entertainment,  enrichment and education to the greater Asheville community since 1992.

The Autumn Players offer a wide range of theatre experience to the community through regularly scheduled meetings and outreach programs, including:

• Readers Theatre Showcase productions
• Reading Plays for Pleasure gatherings
• Poetry Readings in Retirement Communities
• Schools Outreach Program
• General social meetings – with opportunities to showcase talents.

Play Reading for Pleasure is a gathering periodically scheduled for members to read a pre-selected play aloud. They meet on a Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Mainstage Lobby.
