AVL Fringe: Soundbeing + Sisters of Light
Friday & Saturday, June 19 & 20, 2026 at 8:00 PM
Location: 35below
ACT Late Night and Asheville Fringe present Soundbeing + Sisters of Light
Embracing you with sound, Moira brings her Sisters of Light sound bath back to Asheville, with a freshly blossomed guided meditation, a resonating array of gongs, chimes, singing bowls and her magnificent voice. She will be joined by SoundBeing, the project from Claire Dima that explores the relationship between movement and sound through an inquisitive emotive masked creature.
They are joining forces after sharing recognition from their fellow Fringers at the main festival for their experimentation with sound, and are weaving their offerings together to play with sound, movement, perception, time and space itself! Come lose yourself in the expanding waves.
This performance is part of an ongoing collaboration between Asheville Fringe Festival and Asheville Community Theatre. Asheville Fringe takes over 35below to present innovative, genre-defying work from local, regional, and national artists. The partnership transforms 35below into a home for adventurous performances and new artistic voices.
