What’s the plan at ACT? Hurricane Helene Impact Update 10/21/2024
Hello.
The first thing I want you to know is how proud we are to be part of such a strong and supportive community.
We know recovery from the storm has been hard for so many and it’s been incredible to see how our community has come together. Whether it’s helping neighbors with repairs, checking in on loved ones, or showing kindness in small ways, the care and resilience we’ve witnessed have been truly inspiring.
At the theatre, our internet and phones are finally back and we’re beginning to work through the many calls and emails we’ve received. It’s a lot, but we’re taking it one step at a time to help everyone as quickly and kindly as we can.
If you have tickets for a cancelled performance or if you were registered for class, you will receive an email tomorrow morning (Tuesday, October 22) on exchanges, refunds, and donations.
We’ve got information below, so you’ll know exactly what to expect in the coming weeks.
In times like these, it’s the little things that mean the most — a helping hand, a kind word, or simply being there for one another. These moments of care and connection are what make this community so special.
Thank you for being patient with us as we get everything back on track. We’re so looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Executive Director
Asheville Community Theatre
