Asheville Community Theatre (ACT) is seeking 5 designers to help create the look of our 2023-2024 Mainstage season show marketing assets.
ACT’s 2023-2024 Mainstage season consists of 5 productions. The marketing for each production is highly public facing, including both digital (website, social media banners, billboards) and print (large scale posters, sandwich board, lobby posters, postcards). Guided by Dena Rutter, of Dena Rutter Designs, each designer will create one typographical logo for the title of a Mainstage production. Logos will be used across all applications named above.
ACT seeks local designers, defined as anyone living in Western North Carolina. Rising, emerging, and/or student designers are encouraged to apply. - April 12, 2023 – Application Process Begins
- April 26, 2023 – Application Process Closes at 11:59 PM
- May 1, 2023 – First Designer Meeting at 6:30 PM
- May 2-25, 2023 – Design work, including check-in and feedback with Dena
- May 26, 2023 – Final Designs Due
- May 31, 2023 – In-Person Presentations
- June 30, 2023 – Designs Applied to Poster Backgrounds
Compensation:
- $250/logo
- 2023-2024 Mainstage 5-Pass Flex Subscription
