Sing for Support

Sing for Support

Location: 35below

Come join us for a community singalong in pursuit of connection and healing. Theater people know how supportive and uplifting it is to sing and share life with other performers in a production! Even when we can’t be in a show, we can lean on our empathy and connection through shared singing to help us endure life’s challenges. One part singalong, one part psychoeducation, one part shared meal, and two parts community, Sing for Support will use Broadway songs, conversation, laughter, acceptance, and connection to facilitate processing our powerful emotions.

Between Helene, personal losses, and national turmoil, the past year has been marked by grief for many of us. Come sing through the grief journey to be able to identify and embody the twists and turns along the way and to be reminded that No One is Alone. We need each other! Please bring food to share for a casual meal after our group singing.

Facilitator: Janice Kominski brings tools to share from her life and training in performing, counseling, and pastoral care to further joy, connection, and wholeness in the communities she loves.
