About The Show

Improv Tonight! is a fast, funny, and completely unscripted monthly comedy show featuring different improv teams every Friday and Saturday night. Each team performs two shows—one at 8:00 PM and one at 10:00 PM—and no two shows are ever the same.

Content Awareness: Family friendly improv show at 8 PM and adult short form improv at 10 PM.

Show Times: 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM
Lobby Opens: 60 minutes before show time
House Opens: 30 minutes before show time

June 7th –  Hot Fudge Fun Day and Friends

Join us for a family friendly improv show at 8pm  with short form games like Whose Line is it Anyway? Members of the family audience will be able to play some of the games with us on stage. The 10pm show will include an adult short form improv show, featuring guest improvisers that formed troupes after taking improv classes together. These troupes include Hot Fudge Money, a short form troupe,  Always Brenda, and Asheville School of Acting and Improv, a short from improv troupe.

ACT Late Night is not a time of day, it’s a state of mind. It’s a space to explore something a little different. Upcoming ACT Late Night events include monthly performances of Improv Tonight! and Asheville Fringe in 35below, The Rocky Horror Show on the ACT Mainstage for Halloween, Cabaret in an immersive environment offsite in the spring of 2026, two weekends of Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind in 35below, and other yet-to-be-announced experiences.
