The Big DipperPresented by Red Herring Puppets

Saturday at 10:00 am
This spectacular production uses cultural legend and scientific fact to enhance appreciation of The Big Dipper. Audiences learn how the Big Dipper can be used as a calendar, a compass, and a clock through stories from four cultures: the Chinese legend of K’uei, the Underground Railroad, the Greek legend of Callisto, and the Micmac Indian legend of the Sky Bear. This curriculum based performance includes over two dozen beautifully crafted marionettes and twice as many shadow images. Part of our Saturdays at ACT series!
